HP Color LaserJet 4550dn Printer

This section will help you in the download of the driver to your computer and start you on the install process.

Before proceeding with the driver installation, the printer must first be properly set up, and your computer must be ready to print.

Turn on the printer first, then turn on the computer.
Close any screen savers, virus protection programs, or other software programs running on your computer.
Click on Download and a File Download box will appear.
Select Save to download the file to your computer. A Save As box will appear.
Select a directory to save the file in and click Save.
When the download has completed select Open Folder in the Download Complete window or locate the file using Windows Explorer.

Double click on the file. Read and Accept the terms of the license agreement then click Next. Note the directory in which these files will be extracted. The directory may be similar to c:lj588.
If desired, you can change the path and directory name at this point. Click Next. The the driver files will extract into the directory on your hard drive.
Click Finish.
